I love me some gadgets and I know I’m not alone. Here’s the unfortunate flip side of feeling like a walk into Best Buy is a trip home to the mothership. Nicely laid out in an infographic here: Transparency: The Growing E-Waste Situation – Environment – GOOD.
This sort of makes realize that my resolve to set up a bin for used up batteries and dead electronics at home is maybe a little futile but way over due. I remember in the 70′s when people would chuck garbage out the window of a moving car. (Yes I’m old.) Some day I think we’ll feel the same way about improper e-waste disposal.
